Recipe for Traditional Paska
The perfect dish for celebrating Easter, Paska is a symbol of joy and hope. Prepare this treat by following our simple steps.
Ingredients
- 400 g of cottage cheese
- 200 g of sour cream
- 150 g of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of butter
- 50 g of raisins
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
- Mash the cottage cheese with a spoon or through a sieve to eliminate lumps.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until smooth.
- Add the sour cream and softened butter, mix until homogeneous.
- Combine the cottage cheese with the egg-sour cream mixture, add vanilla and salt, and mix well.
- Finally, add the raisins and mix everything thoroughly once again.
- Place the mixture into a mold and press it down firmly. Refrigerate for 5-6 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, remove the Paska from the mold and decorate as desired.
