Recipe for Viennese Dough

Ingredients

  • Flour - 500 g
  • Milk - 250 ml
  • Yeast - 25 g
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Butter - 100 g

Instructions

  1. In a small container, mix warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add eggs and the dissolved yeast to the flour, stirring until smooth.
  4. Gradually incorporate melted butter while continuing to knead the dough.
  5. Knead the dough until elastic and leave it in a warm place for 1-2 hours to rise.
  6. After that, shape into desired products and bake at 180°C until golden brown.
