  • Puff pastry (roll out 4 large sheets) 1 Piece

Chicken and Vegetable Pie

This appetizing pie makes a great choice for lunch or dinner. It combines tender chicken meat with nutritious vegetables, creating a harmonious dish that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 2-3 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g frozen green peas
  • 1 cup kefir
  • 1 egg
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and fry in a pan with onion until golden brown.
  2. Add diced potato and carrot, fry for a few more minutes, then add peas, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix kefir, egg, flour, and baking powder until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Pour half of the batter into a baking dish, place the chicken and vegetable filling on top, then cover with the remaining batter.
  5. Bake the pie in a preheated 180-degree oven for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden.
  6. Let the pie cool and cut into portions.
