Miso Soup

  • Dashi 1.5 Teaspoons
  • Miso (White soybean paste) 0.5 Cup
  • Tofu (Cubed) 0.5 Cup
  • Green onions (Finely chopped) 2 Tbsp
  • Water 4 Cups
  • Seaweed (Dried seaweed for miso soup) 1 Tbsp
miso_sup-2321.jpgPour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the dashi granules and stir until fully dissolved.
miso_sup-2322.jpgSet the stove to medium heat and add the tofu to the soup.
miso_sup-2324.jpgSoak the dried seaweed in water until they soften. Drain excess liquid and add the seaweed to the pot with the soup. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
miso_sup-2326.jpgPlace the miso paste in a bowl. Pour half a ladle of dashi broth into the bowl with the paste and mix thoroughly until smooth.
